A longstanding partner in our mission, S&B James has played a vital role in expanding our shelter and service infrastructure throughout Medford. In 2022, they completed the renovation and build-out of the Medford Navigation Center and Kelly Shelter, an 18,000-square-foot facility that now serves as an access point for individuals seeking stability, shelter, and support. The project included extensive structural upgrades, bunk areas, family rooms, showers and restrooms, a commercial kitchen, and dedicated office space. Most recently, in 2024, S&B James remodeled a portion of the ground floor to include a medical respite area, further expanding our capacity to provide holistic care.
Their commitment goes beyond construction. S&B James continues to work with us on new initiatives, including the outdoor open-air kitchen currently underway at our Crossings shelter site. In addition to their project leadership, S&B James stepped forward as the Title Sponsor of our 2025 spring luncheon, “Rewriting Stories, Rebuilding Lives.” Their support ensured that we could invite community members and donors to attend the event free of charge, removing financial barriers and allowing more people to connect with our mission and the stories of transformation made possible by partnerships like theirs.
