Housing Stability and Affordability
Rogue Retreat is expanding its commitment to providing safe, stable housing for families experiencing homelessness. By acquiring and operating apartment units, we are increasing permanent supportive housing (PSH) options for households in need, ensuring that more families have access to secure, affordable homes.
Strengthening Housing Stability and Affordability
For over 25 years, Rogue Retreat has been a leader in offering supportive housing and services to individuals and families in Jackson County. By acquiring these apartments, we are enhancing our ability to provide long-term housing stability for people transitioning out of homelessness and addiction recovery. This initiative directly supports our mission to help individuals rebuild their lives through secure housing, case management, and wraparound services.
The Benefits of Rogue Retreat Managing These Apartments
For the past 13 years, these properties have been successfully operated in partnership with the Housing Authority of Jackson County (HAJC). Now, with our expanded capacity, Rogue Retreat is prepared to take full responsibility for managing these apartments. This transition will:
Better serve our residents by consolidating housing and supportive services under one provider.
Strengthen our programs by integrating housing with our established case management and behavioral health support systems.
Enhance financial sustainability by increasing our housing portfolio, allowing us to plan for future developments that serve our community’s most vulnerable members.
Addressing the Continuum of Homelessness and Recovery
Rogue Retreat provides a continuum of care, from emergency shelter to transitional housing and permanent supportive housing. Simply providing shelter is not enough—especially for individuals affected by substance use disorders (SUDs). Our holistic approach ensures that once the basic need for safe housing is met, individuals receive case management and connections to behavioral health services, empowering them to achieve long-term stability and independence.
A History of Housing with Support
Since our founding in 1998, Rogue Retreat has recognized that stable housing is a fundamental component of overcoming homelessness. Our expertise in providing housing solutions, combined with compassionate support services, has helped thousands of individuals regain independence. The acquisition of these apartments is the next step in our strategic plan to expand housing options and support our community’s long-term well-being.
Looking Forward
By securing these apartments under Rogue Retreat’s ownership, we will:
Provide permanent supportive housing to individuals and families exiting shelter and transitional housing.
Expand affordable housing options for people recovering from homelessness and SUDs.
Support our long-term financial sustainability and mission-driven growth.
Through this acquisition, Rogue Retreat is taking a significant step toward reducing homelessness in Jackson County. We are not just providing homes—we are creating opportunities for individuals and families to heal, grow, and thrive.
