Stephane Samaniego’s journey from tragedy to triumph is a testament to resilience and community support.
After losing her husband to COVID-19 in 2021 and struggling with addiction, she sought help and entered recovery through the Family Nurturing Center, funded by Measure 110. Her progress led to reunification with her children.
Now sober and a certified peer recovery mentor, Stephane joined Rogue Retreat as a night guest host and was recently promoted to Peer Support Specialist. Her bilingual skills and dedication enrich her role, helping others in their recovery. Stephane’s story highlights the transformative power of compassionate support and community.
