Dear Valued Community Members,
This past year has been incredibly productive for Social Enterprises at Rogue Retreat, with Hope Streets and Hope Kitchen thriving like never before!
Hope Streets has become a vital job training program, equipping our guests with the skills they need to successfully re-enter the workforce. Through hands-on experience, participants develop essential workplace skills such as positive communication, time management, and problem-solving, all while building self-confidence that carries them forward in their journey to stability.
Meanwhile, the Internship Program at Hope Kitchen continues to gain momentum, offering interns the opportunity to train alongside experienced kitchen staff. Starting with food safety and facility sanitation, they gradually progress to meal planning and inventory management, gaining the expertise needed for a variety of food service roles throughout the valley.
Adding to this success, Hopeful Secondhand Thrift Shop has become a community favorite, offering affordable shopping while also supporting our shelter sites with much-needed donations. Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, the shop provides a welcoming space where every purchase makes a difference.
Workforce Development Programs are essential to achieving long-term housing stability. By learning, growing, and refining their skills, individuals gain access to steady employment, which in turn creates sustainable housing opportunities. A strong foundation of job training not only helps participants rebuild their lives but also fosters lasting self-sufficiency.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors and local business partners—your support has been instrumental in helping these programs thrive and truly change lives!
With Gratitude,
Jana Stanley – Senior Social Enterprises Manager
